Newbie Advice - Riding a Bike

After watching Top Gear today on the BBC iPlayer I thought Simon Cowell gave some great advice.

Basically, he came top of the Top Gear 'Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car' lap around the track.

After he'd won here's what he said about taking the advice of The Stig (someone a lot of newbies would refer to as 'The Guru's')...

"It's like riding a bike, if you try to listen to everything that you get told, then you think about everything too much. You just need to get on the bike and get going"

    That's very true, Rob.

The trouble is, when you have a bike everybody tells you to get on it and will hold the saddle for a while until you learn to ballance. With internet marketing there is now such an absolute torrent of 'reports' that are 'must reads' or 'will blow your socks off' that the newbies, understandably, are afraid that there is just one more thing that they have to know.

I think the Lincoln Imp was an internet marketer - and look what the frustration did to him!

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!
