How would you sell and market this product.

Clearly I am new here and new to IM so I thought i would ask for some advise.

About 5 years ago I was having trouble sleeping until I came across a natural supplement that taken at the right dose with the right foods, the right way.. could put a horse to sleep.

I have decided to market this. My thoughts so far, and I have never done this before.

1) offer the supplement and info free to try. customers pays just the shipping.. if they don`t return the item within 30 days keep sending billing them at regular prices...

2) create on opt in page, collect emails an send the the info for free. The use the list to upsell...

3) sell them a lifetime membership that has them pay a upfront fee so they can purchase the supplement at a lower cost for life.

Before I go too far... do you believe i can make money with this.

    I've seen this model work many times before. As long as your product is solid, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

    I know the FTC has been getting strict with free trial offers, so make sure you structure you're offer in accordance with their guidelines.

    A key factor is that you are persuaded about the product yourself.

    How well you do in selling your product depends on your marketing strategy and skills.

    Do you have the product stored at home or do you get it from the manufacturer?

    You might want to consider offering a few packages for your product(s).

      At this point I buy it from a iherb.com for personal use.

      I am here looking for ideas and advise for marketing it.

    A good positive experience personal experience is what your should market and sell. Make your sales page as authentic as possible to recreate your real experience. If the product solved your problem it will sell like hot cakes once you target it to the right audience.

    Most will agree method #1 will make you the most money. It does sound like a money maker.

    I think you would have to come up with a killer sales site.. sort of infomercial.

    You could blend in method #1, #2 and #3 together.

    Sell #1, if no, sell #3, if no, use #2 and build your list.
