How long before putting AdSense on the website ?

I've started my new website about 1 month ago. I'm doing all the SEO stuff, writing original content and so on. Now I would like to know, is there a time frame which is best to put the Adsense ads ?

I've read that new websites shouldnt put the AdSense ads at least for the first 6 months otherwise the website will be penalized om the google ranking. Is there any truth to this ?

    Not true. You can put adsense since the first day of having your website online without having any penalty.

    How do I know? I've done it countless times and haven't notice any adverse effect. People just wanting to stay on the safe side just go to far some times .. like advising other people to not monetize their site for 6 months.

    Depends on where you are. What I heard is that if you are from Philippines and India you will not 6 months before you can create AdSense account.

    You can put them on whenever you like. The sooner the better because even $1-$2 per day adds up over a year.

    You can add AdSense at any time. I would add the AdSense right now.

    Yup, I would add adsense now.

    The 6-month rule is an interesting rumor going around on the internet, where the idea is that you should not apply for adsense unless your website is at least 6 months old. If you already have adsense, just put it up as and when you want!

    Go for it. Put Google Adsense on your site. I know I put it on mine.

    I don't think there is any penalty for putting Adsense on your website too early.

    I know people who have put it on their website from day 1, without any known penalties... unless this is something new.

    Do you already have an Adsense Account or are you planning to apply for it?

    You can put it whenever you want. Some people say you should wait for 6 months, yes, but as far as I know, it's just a rumor that has no solid proof.
