YouTube Software

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any good YouTube software for automating video creation and uploads and such, or anything that is good in general for YouTube.

      I was going to say the same thing. I don't usually dabble in youtube but when I have I've used downloader. I will be interested in seeing more experienced warriors chime in!

    I use clip extractor to download videos that I like on youtube. As for the a software to upload videos to youtube I use traffic geyser to spread my videos across the internet. The cool thing about traffic geyser is that it automatically creates the accounts for you and then uploads your videos across the web into different video directories and on Youtube as well.

    I would however think about keeping yourself from automating youtube as youtube does not like automation. Many peoples accounts have been shut down because Youtube Detected automated uploads.

      Does TG give you an option NOT to upload to YT?

    Some software lets you upload to like 1-2 dozen other video sites with automatically- but YouTube is a bit more picky.

      I use OneLoad.com (used to be TubeMogul), the free version, though I may soon go to the paid and HeySpread.com--I think it's $50 for a 1K credits (1 credit per video site upload) to distribute videos.

      But I never automate YouTube, for reasons already mentioned, and because I like to make sure the description, tags, title, etc are absolutely correct for my system.

      So, use a distribution service...never tried Traffic Geyser myself, too much $$----but I would suggest manual uploads to YouTube--the YT uploader is actually pretty good, seems fast enough to me.

    Not clear here on what you are wanting to do exactly. Do you want to
    1. upload videos to just Youtube
    2. use an auto submitter to upload to multiple video sites
    3. download from Youtube
    4. Setup your own Youtube clone site
