Mistakes that cause me to stick on my Jobs longer and I hope you won't

Hi Warriors,

This is my 1st thread in warrior forum and one of the reason is because I have saw many warriors who have self doubts about whether Internet Marketing is working for them and my answer is definitely "Yes". It's a doable business.

Other purpose of this thread is to encourage and give the boost to others.

Here is my experience, I have invested some money on paid traffic and small but constant volume of traffic are visiting to my site and also capture opt in leads and prospects which it's common in Internet Marketing field.

After that, I heed the advice from some of the most Influential Marketer of building a relationship with your prospects by writing good content and give it away for free and eventually they will buy your products or through your affiliate promotion or at least your email responsive rate will increase.

However, after consistence weeks of providing valuable content and information, I didn't notice any much results and my email open rate didn't increase too. I started to have some self-doubt within myself and questioned what am I doing wrong, is it because most of the email on my list are junk emails, my IP have been blacklisted or simply my audiences don't like my voice or face.

After some more time of trying, I ceased emailing and writing content on my blog and jump onto another online business model local Marketing where I offer WordPress theme and Graphic Designer package to retail owners and insurance agents.

Few weeks have past and I happened see people leaving comment to my blog and also receive email I feel so appreciated which I have never experienced before in my Internet Marketing Endeavor and also regret of not staying on providing valuable content and integrated it with awesome offers.

A subscriber who have no IT or IM Knowledge, she have applied the information from the ebook and video course I share and manage to create her 1st squeeze page but in oppose she also feel disheartened when she needed help of my information, I'm no where to be reach. From the email, I contacted her and she told me that initially she have thought of paying me for having a private call with her for my advise on building up a Website and Squeeze page.

After that experience, my sub-conscious within is playing with me questioning are you sure that it's worth the time and am I in the right track heading to Internet Marketing Success

I go to the ultimate step, I contacted quite a number of establish marketers who are a step above of me or at the throne by leaving messages on their Skype, Facebook and Email.

Seriously, I don't expect any reply from them. But to my surprise I did receive some marketers reply who are very gracious and give me some of their previous time to ask them some questions but with the criteria of not do record the conversation.

Summarize of what the most important advise I will always remember: English is not your 1st language and it's not an exercise or obstacles, if you are authentic in your message and help your audiences to move toward their goal they will be your fans and of course your conversation must be understanding and clear to them. Not everyone will like you or open your email. Just find a handful of audience that like your material and voice and you can make a very comfortable living online. Internet Marketing is a similar to any business, we market for Sales by providing free and paid content or services. The only different is we are using internet as a platform and media. Get the foundation right and take a step at a time and when you can take a step every time without falling, jump or dash to the next step.

From then on, I realized that it is not how many lists I have, it's how much you can help and solve people problem. Of course, the more people on your list you can touch and help the better and I'm going do document more stuff that can help my audiences. And this conclude that blogging is not only for writer, we just need to be transparent and document what we have learn, apply and the results and others will like you. Of course, there are still many aspects we have to consider about for instance marketing, writing copy, email, conversion and etc. However if you stay consistent on taking action and gauge the result I don't think you will get any worse than hopping around.

My next goal is to take massive action especially on meeting and networking with like-minded people so I can leap over faster to more profitable business. That's all for my thread hope someone has gain something from it and apply and achieve success. All the best.
