A question about youtube ranking.

Hi people,
I just joined warrior forums, I am a noob in the whole IM thing and have made like 200$ through content locking gateways. I hate to start here with a question but I'll try to provide this forum with the most value I can.
So my question is-
I am trying to rank on youtube for a particular key word.
I have used the keyword in my title.
Included it in my tags and in description.
But my video is no where to be seen in the results for that specific keyword.
While videos with just 200 views and a few likes are ranked on the 3rd page.
My video which has almost 5000 views and 40 likes is not listed even upto 10th page.(I didn't bother checking after the 10th page)
So what do you think I should do?
Also does youtube search indexes the changes made in a video titles/tags/description instantaneously? Or does it take some time for youtube to notice these changes and reflect it in the search results?

    I feel you my friend.

    Hmm, it is a little confusing to say the least at times. Is your video description properly optimized for your KW?...You have to tell Google, and YouTube, what you are trying to rank for, and not confuse the robots., as in trying to rank for several different KW's.

    Do you have no more than 3-4 related KWs in your tags?

    Do you have a YouTube channel?...and a playlist?

    This a lot of conflicting advice out there, but there is a best way. Hard to tell you in a forum post, but check my signature if you are curious.

      I do have a channel, but I do not have a playlist. Does having a playlist matter?
      What videos do I need to include in my playlist.?
