Eric, Thank you for the link. That would work for adding links into posts but I don't see how I could use when setting up my banners. That is where I am getting hung up. My banner plugin asks for the url the banner is coming from and then the affiliate link that it is going to. So when someone clicks on the link, BAM!!, there's my affiliate link.If anyone else can share some ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks again, Robert |

Would it be possible to set up a page and then forward that page to the affiliate url and mask it somehow to hide the link? something like this: main url http://www.mysite.com then make a page called http://www.mysite.com/weightloss and that url forwards to the affiliate link and shows up as http://www.mysite.com/weightloss in the browser next affiliate banner url could be http://www.mysite.com/loseweightprogram etc... Thanks, Robert |

I haven't found a wordpress plugin that works for banners either so what I do is buy a domain name for each product, forward that domain name (in Godaddy) to the product with masking enabled, and then use that domain name as the link for the banner.

Hi. You don't need a plugin for clocking a aff link in a banner. There are a lot of services on the net doing this, and there are no difference in cloaking a link in a banner you put in a blog then a banner you put in another type of websites. Hopes this helps. - Oddvar. |

I use this link cloaker. It encrypts the link and saves it as a .html file. You just load the file it creates for you onto your server and link to that page on your site. As far as I can tell it's impossible for anyone to see your affiliate link with this.

Interesting topic, since I have also just started to promote clickbank products through wordpress. I guess once I actually set it up, will have a better understanding of how to do it. Thanks though!

When I use this cloaker my web site never loads. It looks like the affiliate link and my web site address keep fluttering back and forth. Any ideas. My system uses windows vista. Thanks.
