Adswap scam?

Hi guys,

I am little curious about adswap. How do people do adswap.
How do they even know if the JV adswap's partner is responsive?

Let's say A has 1,000 subscribers. He wanted to do an adswap with B for 1,000 subscribers too.

But then, A's list is super dead, only 1% of the people respond to email. So isn't B is at loss? Because he gave A most of his subscribers but B only get 1% of his subscriber.

Another thing is, is the email message including title is written by the JV adswap partner? So won't this affect the other person's reputation if he write email's like

    Of course you are right about the reputation part, but many times an adswap partner will allow you to send them the message that they will be sending out. How can I put this... Yes, some adswap partners will be bad, and some will be great. You will have bad experiences, but the majority of these people are good. You can not judge every deal with a bad deal.


    Also, your partner has no way of knowing how many subscribers you will get. They can only guarantee you clicks based on the history of their list.
