Hi,

I was just reading the news & came thorugh this. Hope this may be of interest/need action to Fellow Warriors.

It's a bit drastic to close the internet. Would be better to inform all the users , maybe through TV, to make a scan with dcwg and remove any trojan or virus.

  Did you actually read the article? Only for those who have computers infected with this virus, the Internet will appear to shut down.
  
  Apparently the virus causes infected computers to connect to a group of servers owned by the hackers. The FBI realized, if they just shut down the hacker's servers, a half million or so computers around the globe would suddenly not "appear" to be able to connect to the net.
  
  It seems the FBI put a couple other computers online to temporarily replace the hacker's machines until the public could be notified to check their computers.
  
  What I wonder though, is the entire thing real, or is it a hoax to get people to connect to the dcwg website.

I googled dcwg and found the site that checks your computer. Detect | DCWG

I just wondered if it was legit. I also during the time since found quite a number of articles about it. Seems real!
