What wordpress plugins would YOU like to see?

Hey guys,

I'm considering going the route of writing wordpress plugins that Warriors would find useful. However, given that my few experiments in internet marketing never got too far, I realized I have no clue what sort of plugins would be most useful to Warriors.

Do you guys have any crushing needs for new plugins that would make your business run smoother? Are there any existing plugins you use that you wish had extra features?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Any plug in that creates Lightboxs scripts to add opt in forms and videos.
Basically a plugin that creates a quick squeeze page that is in the form of a lightbox. There is one called pop up domination, but if you can add a social aspect to it that would be great.

    Kindest,

    Adan

Good backlink management plugins are few and far between. Most are auto backlink products exploiting the pingback feature. A more manual solution to find sites to post on, and ways to manage and track your backlink database in the wordpress dashboard would probably sell well. I know I would use and promote such a plugin.

Glad to see you respond; I was just checking out your site this afternoon when I was searching around the forums for ideas.

Anyway, do you mean simply being able to attach links to the backlink to the content you post? I guess I'm not sure what you mean by "a manual solution to find sites to post on".

Anything to make keeping track of backlinks easy, really. I haven't come across any good solutions for backlinking building on a site-by-site basis.

For example, perhaps some sort of interface that will allow you to keep track of where you submitted your backlink, where you've been approved, where your backlink has been removed, etc. Obviously having the checks be automatic would be mandatory. People don't mind doing backlinks the right way, and with all the negative SEO talk, they want to do it the right way, but I have yet to find any good solution to keep it all organized, updated and manageable.

Some plugins can do some of this, but most are built around the idea of everything (including the backlink submission) being automated. A product designed around manual submission would be better imo.

When you are a WordPress user, plugins should really not be new to you. The WordPress Extend lists more than 5800 plugins with more than 40 million downloads. Plugins range from the obscure but ubiquitous Hello Dolly for the just about critical Akismet and All in One particular Search engine marketing pack. By far the most favorite plugins are the ones that deliver a vital service and have come to be element of our each day lives.

As I weblog, I choose to do specific points with my weblog. When I initially started out with WordPress, my Sortable Nicer Archives plugin (Please tend not to use it, it has gone by the wayside. The plugin lives on in hacked form on our archives.) was a necessity for me for the reason that I wanted a cleaner kind of archives. I scratched my itch and hacked with each other anything that worked for me. I also essential a solution to backup my WordPress database automatically and therefore the WordPress DB Backup plugin was born. At one particular time there had been plans of like it inside the core however the functionality was improved suited in plugin form. When I noticed that lots of people today had been trying to find equivalent content material, I place with each other a plugin/hack that allowed me to help keep track of searches then deliver a heat map of searched words. I frequent Amazon and I definitely liked their connected purchases section and I ended up emulating that within a plugin (this one particular is updated, is usually made use of). I not too long ago hacked up a breadcrumbs plugin when I was inspired by a tutorial I located on the net to create Apple like breadcrumbs with CSS (you could see them on action on the weblog in case you happen to be reading this from a news reader).

At this time as I weblog, I nevertheless come up with plugin tips. But I can not hunker down with code as substantially as I'd like to. I do having said that, have access to a wide array of excellent resources with which I can deliver the incentive plus the platform for developers to acquire their hands into code which can boost the blogging knowledge with WordPress. Therefore the WordPress Plugin Competitors was born.

Having back for the original notion with the title. What would you, my readers, prefer to see within a plugin? Do you will need the potential to paste photographs on the WYSIWYG interface? Would you prefer to arrange pages using a very simple drag and drop? Would you prefer to synchronize your posts along with your Flickr photographs and display them simultaneously? Would you prefer to display your Kindle reading list and be capable of post testimonials? How about a plugin to edit your weblog from the Kindle two? Would you like your weblog to display a disclaimer to just about every visitor from Google? Would you prefer to display single advertisements on every single post?

A really advanced Google Analytics plugin, designed to track actions (like downloads and plays) inside the website, and perform A/B tests within posts.
