Sales going down? Heres what you can do

If you are doing a service-based business ie; web design, SEO, article writing etc. and you are not getting as many sales as you'd like or maybe even your previous clients praising you but they are not repeating orders...

Heres what you can do,

Contact your previous clients and just talk to them. Send them an email asking how they are doing etc.

You'll get them interacting with you again and get a few more sales.

Absolutely, and this is why it is so important to not just have a list, but have good information about that list. I made a report of all the top customers, and started contacting them. It really is amazing how quickly you can increase sales by talking to people. Sometimes customers are ready to come back right away.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Lol simple and yet so very true! That's what you should be doing with your list anyway whether they are buyers or prospects. It's all about trust and the little things that count.

Its absolutely true. I run link building services and one of my old customer used to place 5-10 or more orders at once with me. A few months passed by and I didn't get any orders from him. I just shot him an email asking him how he is and I didn't hear back from me.

It seems that he had lost my email id or something because he was glad I contacted him and sent a few orders my way straight away.

We have an offline SEO business, that does pretty well.

But recently we contacted all of them and asked them if they wanted a facebook page or fan page (as and upsell) and 65% of them said yes. CHA-CHING!

one question and an extra 3k, so was it worth asking the question..... I would say YES!

Best thing is we are going to outsource this work, so one question and someone does the hard work....now ask yourself....do you think it was worth us asking that question.

    Great post OP.

It is always important to keep in contact with them even though they are no longer buying or renewing their service...

Once you have a new services, you can always sell to them too...treat them as a friend and the sales will keep coming in
