Click bank affiliate comission vs actual pay out

I recently made a sale for the first product im promoting and on the clickbank page it said i would be getting Total $/sale: $39.43. However when I check my clickbank account I have a sale for $31.73 and i checked the affiliate id just in case it was a diff product but it is from the vendor that im suppose to get $39.43 from. Can anyone explain this?

It could be a different product in the vendors's ClickBank account.
Check the Item number in your transaction report.

    Other possibilities are
    - change of commission rate
    - change of price

    Correction:

I thought you saw the $39.43 on the sales page not
    in the ClickBank stats.

    jrsencio response below is correct

That is because the net amount you get is actually the declared percentage $39.43, minus Clickbank fees and refunds worked into it.

Since that is a huge difference, the refund rate for that product could be high, it may be best to promote a product that has a lower refund rate so your efforts do not go to waste.

Before promoting a product, check to see the actual commissions being paid out to affiliates against the commission based on percentage of sale.
