How to benefit when someone steals your content

There always been a problem with other people coming to your site and stealing your content and images then using that content on other sites for various reasons but most do this without giving you a link back to your site

it kinda sucks

but there is hope :-)

one of the tools that i always recommend to my subs is tynt

make an account and install there script on your site and then what happens is when ever someone takes content from your site tynt will automatically add a link back to your site within the content

some people spot the link and remove it before posting BUT... others DONT and the link back to your site remains there. It works with images too, and from what ive found, it works even better because a lot of people seem to nick images a lot more than content

this tool is awesome because not only are you now able to benefit from when people steal your content without giving you a link back but your are also able to build back links on autopilot and naturally which google loves

you can set up your free account so that you can get daily , weekly or monthly reports its up to you. It tells you how many times a particular peice of content or image has been take from your site and how many links you have gained over the month too

this does work really well and i include this on all of my sites now and pick up lots of free and natural back links every month
