Anyone know how to edit slide duration in Windows Movie Maker?

I've just imported a ppt presentation into Window's Movie Maker, and I'd like to edit the duration of my slides. Currently they are set at 5 seconds each. I'd like to increase that to 10 secs and my final slide to about 30 secs. Got any directions? Thanks.

I'm not sure what Movie Maker version you have but mine is on vista and once you have imported it you can click on it and a tab will appear in the corner called "video tools". If you click on that you can change the duration. But this might not be possible for PowerPoint presentations.

Normally you can drag the right edge of an imported image to the right on the time line to make it display for longer, but for obvious reasons you can't do that with a video. If you can't drag it that means it i being treated as a video rather than a set of images and you need to edit in PowerPoint and then import it.

Thanks guys! It was under tools->options.

Now I need to upload an audio file, but I can't seem to get the MP3 file to upload. Tells me that "file could not be imported.

Am I missing a step somewhere?

    Thanks.

No it just doesn't like your mp3.
Double check that you can play it. Try copying and saving under a different name. If that doesn't work make it into a new mp3, perhaps convert it to wav file in vlc and then convert back to mp3. If you are unfamiliar with converting and processing audio files pm me.
