Affiliate Model + Email Marketing = what outcome?

I recently saw a webinar from a super affiliate and here's what they taught me. They said if you combine email marketing+ affiliate model that it would equal 5-6 figures. Here's the formula: product+squeeze page+traffic+email marketing= 5-6 figures. He also said I have to build a relationship between my prospects and I. Is this true and I'm tempted to buy the war room today.

This is the formula I use, but you need to put the work in beforehand and always remember to provide incredible FREE value first.

Targeted traffic from advertising ==> Squeeze page ==> Replicated Sales page ==> Continued autoresponder messages ==> Build relationship via personal website ==> Get paid membership sales/recommend affiliate products ==> Your primary business product ==> Get bank $$$

It's true in so far as there's certainly not much point, for most people, in trying to do affiliate marketing without list-building; yes.

I don't use squeeze pages, myself, since a 6-month-long split test in each of four unrelated niches showed me how much money they were costing me in all four, but the rest all sounds true, to me.

      I'll play dumb here

So how do you collect email addresses, Alexa, if you don't use squeeze pages?

      Thanks,
      Neeraj.

        Hi Neeraj,

Now, I just have a prominently incentivized opt-in at the top of the landing page of my content-rich websites (and I have a smaller variant of the opt-in box on every other page of the sites). I build smaller lists as a result, but I make significantly more money from them.

I don't believe this! Higher opt-in rate, fewer sales

          Thanks Alexa!

While I have you here..what are your opinions on pop-ups that promote an incentivized sign-up? Personally, being a marketer myself, I find them a little irritating. I wonder if it is a turn-off for other marketers too?

          Neeraj.

            My view's here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6087171

This whole thread from a few days ago is worth is a long, slow read-through, too (I disagree totally with its initial post and I think half the thread contains rather misdirected and misapplied reasoning, but it's an interesting discussion, anyway!): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...lieve-lie.html

Don't expect too many people to agree with me, though: people generally prefer to "believe the consensus of opinion/stuff everyone repeats" rather than testing properly for themselves. that's what even most of the gurus whom everyone else quotes are doing, too. They must be gurus, because they say so themselves, and after all, there's no more authentic source than that, right? :p

For creating Affiliate modal, you have to build a strong relationship with your affiliate partners on the purpose of choosing deal and plans. with using Affiliate modal and email marketing you can easily gathering potential and interested visitors towards your website.

That's one of the formulas and it certainly can work very well. Then again, presented
like that it is the basic of the basics and the trick is in implementing it and taking care
of incredible amount of little things that all can make a difference.
