Is anyone killing it with video marketing?

Hi everyone.... I just wanted to do a quick poll and ask how video marketing is working for the rest of you? I love to do video, and I do tons for my ghostwriting clients. But, I have never really put my full effort into doing video marketing (mainly on YouTube) for my own niches.

How are you doing with video marketing? Do you find that it pulls in more traffic (especially sales and opt-ins) than article marketing?

Video marketing can be very effective. I have a few youtube videos that used to rank pretty well on google. I lost my focus on them and they fell back in ranking. I will start working on them again as I used to get decent traffic from there.

    Hey

I'm getting good traffic to my YouTube videos, though I'm still a bit of a newbie

My friend, who is also my mentor in IM only uses YouTube as his traffic source, and having not touched his IM for a couple of months, is bringing in about $300 per week.

Like a lot of people here... I'm killin' it with video marketing. It's so much easier to rank videos than it is to rank traditional sites.

Videos are great! Easy to rank, and there are many techniques that work wonders if you know what your doing.

So to answer your question, yes it can bring in faster traffic than your website.

My article marketing results are wayy better than my video marketing results.

    I am somewhat like Randall.
Instead of me killing it with videos, making videos and getting no response from it is killing me.

    Hey Charity,

I'm sure there are people here doing really well with video marketing.

Do a search for video marketing threads, or check out WSO's with really good feedback, then compare and see how you can be getting better results.

I haven't had a lot of success with youtube marketing... It's easy enough to get views, but I find it hard to turn those views into any significant $$$... but it depends on the niche I guess (and how good your videos are.)

I have tried it in local marketing. I was able to get many, but not all of my videos to rank in Google. What I did discover is that just don't post any video. The message in the video is very important. It must hold the viewers attention and it must convince them to perform the desired outcome like: call a phone number or visit a website.

The videos I made in the past with images and music in the background failed miserably. No calls, no website visits. Any video I post from now will have content that a viewer will want to see.
