free file sharing sources?

I'm wondering what I can use to move larger files, such as videos, music, etc... I will be dong videos and need them edited so I need a way to get them to my editor without losing quality or having to jump through a bunch of hoops. I don't have much experience with this...I have the free dropbox but don't know if it would restrict me with size... or how about Yousendit...etc?

Thanks!

Free dropbox gives you 18GB of space. Not sure if that meets your needs. There is also an open source project called OwnCloud which looks pretty similar, so you might want to research that one too.

Media Fire is good. You should also check out Carbonite. Or simply get yourself a terrabyte hard drive from walmart, connect it to your network, and back up your files to there.

Randall do you have the right thread? I wasn't asking about back up, but for getting a video file or something larger over to someone else...since gmail and the like usually have a limit or will chop it up, etc. however, thanks for reminding me that I've been meaning to get a terabyte drive for backup, storage. I do have carbonite now but that would still be good for me. Thanks

yea maybe I used the wrong vernacular. I was meaning something like drop box or send it. I'll probably try one of those. No way am I going to torrent or something like that.
