Why Do So Many New Users Post Reviews In WSOs?

I seem to notice this in nearly every WSO thread I go through.

They all seem to be plauged with reviews/feedback coming from people with just a few posts.

Let me ask this question seriously, because its always been in the back of my mind. I see people talk about it from time to time, but are ALL of these new accounts posting reviews fake?

Because that is an ennnnnnooooooorrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmoooouuuuusssssss
amount of new accounts being made everyday. Does this bother anyone else? Or am I assuming something thats not really true?

Maybe all these new accounts are just guests registering to actually buy?

What percent do you estimate are fake?

I don't think it's very many. Sure, SOME of them are fake, but the mods are good at catching them, deleting those users and closing the WSO.

... and then they go and create another new account?

        Will,
... and then they go and create another new account?
Best answer to that: Don't buy from random newbies, especially if they have the "classic" WSO formatted offers.

I do not think that there are too many fake accounts. Sure there might be some but you'll find that on any forum. There are a lot of people that actually buy WSOs.

Sometimes launches ask for reviews in their marketing e-mails. Also sometimes in order to get a free bonus that was mentioned you are encouraged to post a review.

So long as the review is not required to get that bonus as that would be against the forum rules.

The fact is a lot of people come here now just to buy products, not join in the discussion side of the forum. They might create an account so they can communicate with WSO sellers and leave reviews. It doesn't mean they are fake accounts. Just remember, every single person in this forum (including myself) once had a new account with just one post.

No of course they are not all fake and we shouldn't assume that they are either. We should trust that the mods are doing their job of spotting the patterns and removing the WSO accordingly.
Take everything with a grain of salt and all that, but don't bash a thread because some new members have reviewed a product

      No, you should not.

If you have reason to believe that a review is from a shill or a "fake" account, report it. We can't possibly see every post in every thread, so we depend on the members to point out problems we might not see without you.

Once we know there's a reason to look at something, we're usually good at cleaning out any issues. We just need to know what wants watching.

In response to the initial post...

Most of the reviews from people with zero post count are legit. The majority are people commenting on something they've bought. They might have 20 or more posts in the WSO section and still show as zero. Posts there don't count. And a lot more people buy things than spend time in discussion forums.

When we see a seller playing the kinds of games you're speculating about, and it does happen occasionally, we remove the offer and the seller.

This might sound a little selfish but you could wait until a lot others buy and see what they think, on the second page of a Wso is usually when you can get a good idea of what's going on.

I think a small portion could be fake, but I also know that a lot of buyers here on the forum are not really active and only have an account to purchase WSO's ask ??'s etc...so that would explain a low post count. Not to mention the fact that people who are new are the bulk of the numbers who are buying guides to get them going in the IM world.

Things that alarm me isn't necessarily the post count, but the join date, if the join date was a couple of days or 2 weeks before the launch or review then it is probably a fake.
