Why people like to buy traffic

I never be sure how traffic generator tools are effective for us. They are just giving traffic but it is not relevant for us. Can some one tell me whey people are buying traffic.

    You have made a very generalized statement. If you are careful and meticulous, you can end up getting a pretty good deal for relevant, targeted traffic.

    Personally, I don't like the idea of buying traffic at all, but to say that it is all not relevant would be incorrect. There are many people who offer good quality, converting traffic to you. I'm not sure how it works though.

    Most traffic though, as you have mentioned, is rather useless unless you want to boost the stats of your website. It's better to focus on other traffic generation projects, or using the money for targeted advertisements rather than buying poor quality traffic.

    Most free traffic generators don't give any sales. Mostly they're just giving hits to improve ranking and not sales. People are buying even fake traffic to sell their site to flippa and sometimes to say their site has traffic so they can sell advertising space and even tell their prospect that they can accumulate traffic inducing future sales.

    Fake traffic: 99% of what you see advertised on Google that sounds like this: XX,XXX clicks for $X, XXX,XXX clicks for $X, etc etc

    I agree with Ross, I doubt if the conversion rate would be high if the traffic on a website is bought. An average person won't click sites that are advertised even by Google. They have a bad reputation for being too sales-oriented instead of information-oriented or service-oriented.

      There are TONS of paid traffic sources, the idea is to test them and see what traffic converts for you. Then modify your page/site and test conversions again.

      Obviously you need targeted traffic, people looking for toothbrushes aren't going to buy lawn mowers.

      When you find a traffic source that converts well for you...You Win.

      Track everything, and test > modify > test > modify.

    People often choose the easy way and not spend much time and effort.
    But in my opinion, to create real traffic quality then you should take some time, if four is considered online business your career. Forum maketing, aricle marketing, social marketing .. These are my suggestions.
