I need a little help with my sales funnel. Well I think I do anyway. Let me explain. I am doing a sales funnel for a local jewelery store and I would like for you guys to give me some feed back as to what you think and if there is anything that I can do to maybe improve it or if you thing it is good then you can say that too. I just want to give this client the best that I can. This is my first client like this and am trying to do a great job for them. Here we go. The first thing that he has is that he has stated to me that he is willing to give away a set of freshwater pearl earrings to anyone that signs up on the list but they would have to pay for the shipping so that he was not hurt to bad. Then we will use the list that we build to market deals on jewelery that he may have in the future. That is what my client has and now I am going to show you what I have made for him and you tell me what you think. None of these pages are published yet so I am going to put the links here for you to go look at. The first page is a page that tells people what we have to offer them. It is very straight forward and to the point which I think is a good thing. Here is the link to that page. Remember none of this is live so do not fill out the form or any thing like that. http://everettindustriesllc.com/free-pearl-earrings/ Now what happens when someone fills out the form they will be taken to the next page in the funnel and here it is. http://everettindustriesllc.com/like-give-away-joes/ My thought here is to get as many people to know about this as possible and have the people that are interested do it for us. The final step that they will take is to pay the shipping and handling. Here is that link. http://everettindustriesllc.com/shipping-and-handling/ Now my thought with this whole entire funnel is to leverage the list of the people that sign up for this offer before they get to the payment page and that payment page will probably actually be a shopping cart page instead of another page on the site. If you think that it is good the way it is then they will click where it says to click to get to the checkout page. I am not sure which way to do it and I might just need to test it out but let me know what you think. Now I would like your honest opinion about this entire funnel. I do not want a lot of people saying nasty things but I am a big boy and am asking for constructive criticism. My wife said that she likes it because it is straight forward and to the point but she is one opinion and knows absolutely nothing about IM. Anyway please give me your opinion on this I really would appreciate it. Thanks to all you warriors out there. |

I would mention your charging shipping and handling on your squeeze page. It's a little misleading and could lead to losing trust for your client.

As much it will hurt the number of sign ups.. I agree that you should mention the shipping and handling on the sign up page.. maybe not the actual amount, but at least that it's a requirement. Otherwise, you'll be ticking people off. |

How do you plan on monetizing your list?

Hi Joseph Anyone who completes the sign-up form on your first page is aware that they are going to be given details of how to get the earrings because you tell them that at the top of the sign-up form. They know they are going to have to pay the P&P. You tell them "Please fill out the form below to find out how you can get your free pearl earrings shipped to you today." But I would add " and details of other special offers". I'd do this because they are now on your mailing list whether they buy or not and you have now told them that you are going to send them more offers via email. Once they have confirmed their subscription your first email should tell them which page to go to so that they can complete the form and then be re-directed to Paypal (or whatever Payment Processor you use). So your next page will have to tell them exactly how to get them: You'll need them to fill in another form with their full address details etc and then link them to PayPal or other payment processor. I don't know exactly how this is done so that their address and payment details are conveyed to you. I think PayPal will set this up for you. When they have finished at Paypal you can have them re-directed to the page asking them to link to you from twitter, facebook etc (Like give away Joes | everettindustriesllc.com which will now be Step 3. To give them further encouragement to 'Like' you could you offer them something else which could be included with their earrings - a report - a cleaning cloth - something that won't add to the cost of P&P? It's late at night here in the UK so I'm sorry I can't be of more help but I hope this is useful. Best Wishes Joe |

Does anyone else have any thoughts about what I have done here. I would really like to hear what you have to say.
