Simple Membership Site Script?

Hey everyone,

Just joined WarriorForum (even though I've known it has existed for years), and really loving what I am seeing. Same amount of quality that I see in paid forums. That's great!

Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you knew of any membership scripts. I don't want it to do much. No rebilling, nothing advanced or technical like that.

Here's basically what I am looking for...
- Easy to use
- Makes them pay one-time fee after registering (no rebilling, just one time)
- Allows me to see if they are letting multiple IPs to use their account login

If any of you know of a membership site script with any of the above features, please post a link!

There is an excellent free (or low cost) script called Membership Ease. It is very popular. Have to dig out the link for it though. If you can send me an e-mail, I shall reply back with it.

YourMember + YourMinder.

Basically a Wordpress plugin. Read my review:

I am new here too - also enjoying what i see also!

For me in regards to a membership site, i would recommend Joomla 1.5, with these additional plugins:

Community Builder - for handling your profile/members
AEC - for handling your subscriptions
Doublelogin - this prevents two people at the same time logging into your site with the same IP
Usertrace - which stores all user activity including IPs, might need to do a simple tweak to get your info but it works

Pretty much all the above are open source, and relatively easy to install - you can always hit me up if you need any more info.

I think any product protection/payment script will do then.

Unless theres something specific here that's membership related that i missed?
