Suggestions on how to run a Contest Online (on Wordpress)?

Hi there,

I'm looking for ideas/options on how to run a contest online? Preferrably on Wordpress?

My concept is to run a contest for the best "type of food" in my city and use the site to receive and track votes, preferably making it viral. I'd also like to continue the site as an information resource (hence why putting it on Wordpress is desired)?

Does anyone know how I can do this? Are there any plugins or online options to do this?

      Thanks. I did a search for "Mark Thompson" and couldn't find anything related either in the WSO forum on on the forum as a whole.... would you happen to know the name or have a link?
