Do Your Indexed Ezine Articles Make Any Money?

Does anyone actually make any money from their INDEXED ezine articles?

I know this is the whole point of BUM marketing, but I am wondering if anyone really makes any real money from it.

I have had $100 days from just writing tons of articles and getting sales off of the directory traffic, but I am wondering if a searcher in Google will actually read an article and click through to buy a product.

I realize this questions the whole point of BUM marketing with ezine articles, but I just want to gauge everyone's results.

I've made some good coin directing people to affiliate pages from EZA. Its all a numbers game, the more traffic you can bring, the more money you will make.

Yeah man that's very true. But what I'm wondering is if the ezine articles actually generate a lot of traffic? Again I am not talking about article directory traffic, I am talking about google traffic

I know this depends on the KW, but I am just asking in general (I don't want to start working smarter instead of just hard)

Google will generate more views to your ezine articles, thats it.

Its up to your article to get them to click your link in the resource box.

Its up to your sales page to get them to give you the money.

So in general terms, due to the fact that Google will index EZA articles really quickly and rank them highly for keywords means that you will have more views to your articles. Thats the only thing Google can do for you in terms of traffic.

You could have an article with 10,000 views that is ranked #1 on Google. But if your click through rate is only 1% you're only going to get 100 visitors.

Getting ranked on Google is only one part of the whole system. You should not measure the success of your campaign on the amount of traffic its generating, only the amount of sales.

You could have 10,000 unique visitors per day to your site and only make $100 per month. So traffic is KEY but it is not everything!

Focus on getting your articles to convert the visitor to click on your resource box before even worrying about if they are ranked on Google are not.

I find that the actual directory traffic dies out after a day or two. It can then take a while before you start getting traffic from the search engines. I have had articles that got buried in ezine quickly (less than a hundred views) only to be picked up by the search engines weeks or months later and rocket me to the most viewed list.

In terms of whether ezine traffic is different than search engine traffic - I can't tell the difference. It all seems to convert the same ctr and sales.
