Network Marketing Business Ideas

I have been in the network marketing / direct sales industry for the past 15 years and have only been with two companies. I treat this style of business like a real business and not like the traditional network marketing ways.

I would like to get some feedback of various marketing ideas for recruiting in the network marketing industry. Obviously I have been around the industry for many years and have worked the business from different angles... but I always like to hear feedback from different people.

    I am just curious if you market one particular niche of products or services or if you offer a wide variety? Either way, I know there is potential for a profit. However, just to make conversation, I would be curious as to how many/what kinds of niches you have promoted from which you generated substantial income.

    You are going to find that while there isn't heavy MLM bashing here... it's also not heavily supported. You might have better luck on a different forum with MLM concerns.

      As others mentioned here, this forum isn't the best place to get the kind of feedback you're looking for. Most people here don't look very favorably on MLM. You're better off finding forums populated by other network marketers.

      I'm not in network marketing, but I was involved in a couple of different network marketing companies in my late teens/early twenties and LONG before I discovered IM. I was completely new to business ANYTHING and so never made any money.

      If I were to ever get involved in an MLM company again (not likely!), I have VERY SPECIFIC criteria the "opportunity" would have to meet for me. And one of those is significant, in-depth training.

      Quite frankly, the "training" most MLM companies offer simply isn't enough. Not by a LONG shot.

      If you're not familiar with her, I recommend Dani Johnson of Dani Johnson | Millionaire Secrets How To Make More Money Quickly I'm not in any MLM company and am in no way associated with Dani Johnson, but I've been super impressed by what she does and recommend her to anyone in MLM.

      Dani was the featured millionaire on ABC's "Secret Millionaire" show last year. The show never mentioned how she'd made her millions and I was super curious. I had to really dig around online to found out she'd made it in MLM. She now has an entire company dedicated to training MLMers how to be successful in their MLM business. She's completely independent and not affiliated in any way with any specific MLM company. So she's free to train as she sees fit.

      I got a few of her products and I've been tremendously impressed with what she does. When I was (briefly) in MLM, the hardest thing for me was exactly what to say when presenting the "opportunity" to others, especially to family and friends.

      Dani tells you EXACTLY what to say when recruiting others -- and how to say it -- in a way that's completely authentic and non-slimey. I was super curious to learn this since it's such a stumbling block for most people in MLM.

      If you're looking for ways to recruit and what to say, check out Dani's Script Book and Script Book Supplemental, her prospecting and closing classes and her Dynamic Duplication product. It is, hands down, the BEST information I've ever heard on the subject. If I ever got into MLM again, I'd do a deep-dive into Dani's stuff.

    I agree with above, warriorforum is flood with IMer not MLMer, but i guess many of us have been involved in MLM once for a while.

    Although here is not a suitable place, but you can still get some idea or strategy from the online business, example: viral marketing, social marketing, OTO, upsell, downsell, pre-launch, affiliate, list building, flipping etc...
