Your Opinion on This Please (Review Blogs)

I recently made several very rich content blogs on a variety of topics. One topic is Diets. This blog includes general posts and also reviews of ClickBank products I like.

After reading some articles by people on here..I am wondering if I should make another simpler site lacking all the extras my rich content site has and just make it a review site, and review 3-4 clickbank Diet products (same ones I reviewed for my other Diet site) and leave it at that. Since I have domain names and can write quickly it would be fairly fast and easy.

So my question is does it make sense to have two sites to promote, article market etc on the same niche?

Is a simple review site likely to make more money than a rich content site?

Yes, you should, the key is to optimize page titles to conduit type questions besides just, "such and such review"

For instance, I found that the keyword "how much does <product> cost?" had great traffic and NO other optimized results for one of the music offers I promote.

That one post with those keywords in the title makes up for at least 10 other duds. It only gets 10 hits a day but THOSE visitors actually want to buy, click through, and sign up!

Should it be an "ugly" site or somewhat attractive but simple?

So a question like does X diet really work?

I say attractive but simple. Why make an ugly site? I always think theyre fake if not enough effort is put into them

All I know is that I model all my site designs on Google so - somewhat attractive but simple is my answer.

As far as using "does X diet really work" would be bad if there was already more than several pages of results in Googel for the title "does X diet really work" on pages with higher Page Rank than yours. Then your page will never get seen.

Do you see? You either have to beat other pages in the results with Page Rank OR find terms for titles that are yet to be exploited.

For instance my site gets the number one result in Google for "Totally Free Songs To Burn" but number 1,000,000 something for "Free Music". That's because there are pages with PR 8 with titles of "Free Music" but there are NO other pages with Page Rank for "Totally Free Songs To Burn"!
