This is a great question.
An advice to the newbies: If you plan to make it in the IM business, you must have a mentor it doesn't matter if you know them on a one-on-one basis or not.

So I'm asking this question today, who was your mentor then when you started out newly as an IMer and who is your mentor even now?

I've got 2 mentors myself then and now, namely:

Bryan Kumar and Jay Abraham for a couple of reasons. Give me yours, warriors.

I agree; but think it would be better to find a mentor who you can work with on a 1:1 basis. Some people can get by just by being pointed in the right direction. Others need someone over their shoulder to talk them through things. There is no one size fits all teaching strategy.

Didn't have a mentor. I convinced myself I could do this on my own. These days? There are a small contingent of Warriors who I glean information off of, no one or two mentors.

I started off on my own, did some networking, and built some friendships. Through that process I met Justin Lewis (he has quite the amazing outlook on life and is filled with IM knowledge).

I started working with him on projects, and took off learning like crazy, building more relationships, and furthering my own knowledge and business with his guidance.

Funny thing is I am over 10 years his senior, and he teaches me new things daily. Doesn't always take someone older to mentor. If you find someone honest and good, and brilliant (yes I think Justin is brilliant) then you know you are in good hands.

A good mentor will help you find your wings - but you still need to be the one to jump off that ledge if you want to fly.

It's a good point to have a mentor, but first thing is you need listen to your heart. Don't try to do something what you don't like to do.

I don't know any super big and super famous in IM. I think that all super big IM's going to offline business and society is ready for few more super big. Lets say there is a super big flow in IM.
