Gimp. No, I'm not calling you names. There is a free program called Gimp. I have no idea how it works, I'm a Photoshop user. After 38 years of owning a photos studio, I've removed a lot of people. Oh wait, that makes me sound like a mass murderer. :-o Seriously though, I've been using Photoshop since 1996, and the process to "remove" someone requires that you "paint out" that person using the clone tool to copy some other area of the photo onto where they are standing. Gimp should work the same way. Sometimes there is not enough "other area" to clone, in which case you must copy around the people you want to keep, cut them out to the clipboard, then paste them into another photo... one that doesn't have people. :-Don |

Gimp will do it, and it's free. Bit of a learning curve, though. I think you might be able to do what you need with a sweet little free program called Irfanview (irfanview DOT com). Tiny learning curve compared to PhotoShop or Gimp. Good luck! John |

You might also want to have a look at FotoFlexer. It is an online photo editing site that's free. I found this the other day, and I was quite impressed with it. It's very convenient and feature-rich. -Ken |

Another online Illustrator type program is Aviary. It has both a free and paid version. I believe the only difference between free and paid is access to tutorials. Welcome to Aviary |

If you looking for free then Gimp is the best, although its more complex to use than photoshop. I also use Picassa to manage my photos too. Another great free prgram

Gimp is a great free tool for sure there is also a great free alternative called FotoFlexer. It's very similar to photoshop and its online photo editing and most importantly - free! It has layers settings very similar to photoshop as well as filter and content settings, worth a look for sure! Hope this helps you!

There have been some great suggestions and I would highly recommend Sumo Paint, as it is an above average paint editor with high quality rendering options as well as great range of comprehensive tools to use. Similar in style to paint and photoshop in windows. Well worth checking out! .: Sumo Paint :. |
