Can you recommend an affiliate software for my business?

Hi Everyone,

I want to set up an affiliate program for my business and I am hoping to get some recommendations on some affiliate software.

My business (The Holistic Mama) has three types of things:
  1. Coaching services
  2. Physical Products
  3. Downloadable products (ebooks, etc.)

I would like to allow affiliate to promote all three.

Preferably, I do not want something that requires paying a monthly fee. I am currently using the wordpress platform but I am also in process of building a second website and not sure if that will be on wordpress also.

Not sure that eJunkie is for me because I want affiliates to be able to market all my products once they sign up and not have to sign up for each individual products.

Any ideas???

If you're using WP, there are a few plugins that might do what you want. I did a search for affiliate, and here are the results: WordPress › Search for affiliate « WordPress Plugins

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,
It's like mr.Jim said, if you use WP you won't need one. You can use any of it's plugins ...

However, There are pretty cool companies like > Affiliate Software - AllAffiliatePro

Affiliate Program Software - Affiliate Tracking Software - Affiliate Management Software

I use idevaffiliate for my custom shirt sites. Tons of features, more than I even use. There is a one-time fee. I think it was $99 when I bought it, no regrets.

I use PayGear, they just released there latest version and it is good. They have added instant affiliate commissions. PayGear is very easy to use, can do just about any task, and priced fairly. Would very much recommend.

I know clickbank and paydotcom can satisfy #2 and #3 on your list. But if you want to start an affiliate program for your coaching services, you should check out 1shoppingcart. Requires a monthly fee though.

      Hi:

I was approached recently by someone connected to a large nonprofit group (more of a cause or movement than a brick and mortar institution) for advice on how to set up an affiliate program for a particular line of merchandise that they want to get out there for branding purposes and to build a list.

We told them that they could get more traction (including from sister nonprofit groups) from this campaign if others could get at least a small stake in the selling price of the merchandise--to cover their own marketing expenses if nothing else. Of course it occurred to me that affiliate software would be the simplest way for them to go. Do you all think that the the classic ones that we've run across (like Marlon Sanders') would do the job as well for a nonprofit ? These guys don't want to come off as overly commercial but they are open to the idea of affiliate marketing as another way for them to get leverage from their campaign.

Remember that they DO have a webmaster who can create forms, etc.---whatever is needed I think. But I am telling them that all he needs to is set up access to the affiliate software via links and special pages, and that the software can do most of the heavy lifting. They of course are ready to go NOW so I think in the meantime they are going to get the job done with promo codes that customers will enter on their order forms. Somehow they are rigging their gmail account with folders to segregate the orders according to promo code.

      Any advice would be appreciated.

      Thanks,

      Kevin
