Is this how it works...

Up until now, I have created a few niche sites for learning purposes and process development, relying on seo and google for traffic. Not building a list, or focusing on any other traffic methods...well it was a good learning experience, but its time to move one....

It seems like my next process to learn should be this...

Create squeeze page with opt-in offering free report

Write articles for syndication and find publishers (which i am having trouble getting a response back from people i contact at the moment)

Email marketing to list and build a relationship (1 or 2 emails a week)

Rinse and repeat in various niches....

I have never built a squeeze page, do you just have it be 1 single page and thats it, or is it better to attach a blog to it?

and i guess i need to work on/figure out how to get responses from potential publishers...

    Hi,
I think squeeze pages are standalone pages they don't require a blog attached to them. For your profit you can add another page with exitsplash which can help you save your traffic.
And Best of luck for your future business

I'd attach an opt-in to the website you are publishing your articles on personally. You are publishing your articles on your own site first...right?

      Yes I am

I am just starting with syndication, so I have only had the chance to get 1 person to publish so far...I guess the important part now is to learn how to gather a list of syndicators...

when i contact a webmaster should i ask to provide content for his site/blog or for their newsletter if one is present?

Is there any good reason you can think of to not ask to be published on both ?

    nope ha...

When contacting webmasters, I just want to make sure my approach is right..

Currently i am writing them telling them that i came across their site and find it interesting and intruiging and that i have a great interest in their topic. Then i say something along the lines of i know that producing quality content for your audience can be a workload, and that i would like to offer to write an article for them on the topic of......that would be relevant and of great value to their audience...etc..then i say please let me know if you are interested in building a relationship..etc

Does this seem suitable? am i missing something? should i provide my website for them to look at?

The people i have contacted so far are in a broader niche and mine is related, but a small sliver of it....I am just wondering how these people react to opening their email from a stranger offering to write an article, and if i do not mention anything about my site, when i send the article and it has a link in it to my site if they think i am a competitor and are thrown off...because i have only received 1 response out of about 20 emails, and that response just wanted to place my link on their resource page. I wrote back asking if i could place it at the end of the article and have not heard back.....
