Losing traffic through cloaked affiliate link?
I'm using a link manager in wordpress to convert affiliate links from http://affiliate/r234234, to mysite.com/go/affiliate.
It seems to be working fine. However, I looked at my the "flow chart" on google analytics and noticed that my link has 40% as through traffic to other pages on my site, and 60% as drop offs.
This doesn't make sense to me. How can people click a link that forwards them to the affiliate and end up on another page on my site? Is the person clicking the link then hitting stop on the browser? Are the hitting the back button? Should I change my link to a regular link?
