When buying a WSO or other marketing product, what do you find yourself buying more often...Info products or software/tools?

I tend to lean more towards info product but that's only because there are more of them. Software I'm more critical of because if it doesn't work well it can waste a lot of my time.

I buy far more info products, but I usually spend more per item on software. I guess I equate software with being worth more. But that's just me.

I've done quite a few of each, but am gradually getting away from software.

As, SEO is becoming less critical for me these days, I find I need fewer and fewer plug ins.

I don't spend much on either (I'm an accountant by trade; I'm tight with my wallet naturally) but when a free alternative is not available I would spend more money on software.

Here's my mindset; there's SO MUCH FREE INFO OUT THERE; I do my due diligence and if the free info seems legit and I want to follow-through with what's being taught and if the free info product suggests I use a particular software, from that point I'll purchase the software.

I don't think I represent the majority when it comes to spending habits of an IMer; I just wanted to give my .02 - hope this helps.

I don't typically purchase WSOs - but when I do purchase them I lean more towards info products than software.

I'd go Info product first, build a list while your at it. Than go software

Info products- software is great, but I feel like most software is SEO related (which I don't do much of anymore)

Interesting, I have spent more money on software but it appears most others here spend more on info products.

Mind you, I am including MS Office and such which can really add up.

I've bought a lot more info products than software. My opinion, when I've purchased software, there is so much to learn, if you don't spend all your time learning and practicing it, it can go to waste and then you don't get the value for it.

I think it depends on your skill set. I personally would always go for info products.
