List Building with Affiliate Sales Question

Bit of a newbie question, but is there a way to capture emails addresses when the affiliate links I get take the customer to a sales page with an opt in form?

I'm thinking having them opt in to my list and then into a product list would be a deterent.

Thanks

This is exactly what I do.
I first capture the visitor's email address and then send them to the affiliate opt-in page.
Sometimes I populate the email address onto the page I send the visitor to, and sometimes I do not - but it still works fine.

I buildup my list by giving away freebies. This will be faster than promoting a particular affiliate because lots of them may already be a member of that particular aqffiliate.

After collecting the emails, i will send more freebies to buildup the relationship & trust and than promotiong my affiliate after 1 to 2 weeks. For those who not interested or already attached to the affiliate, i still can profits from them in the future with other products or affiliate ...

Here is a good tool that can help you. G-Lock Cloaker.

This will completely mask your affiliate link. So you can capture the prospects email and then send them to whatever page on the merchants site you want. That way you can bypass their squeeze page, which (like you already realize) is bound to put a lot of people off if they already had to optin to a list once.

    1. Install an autoresponder or sign up for a third party service.
    2. Set up a subscription form.
    3. Offer a free ebook(s) related to your affiliate product.
    4. Let them subscribe > redirect them to your short sales pitch page with an affiliate link on it.
    5. Follow up with them for couple of times : Ask them to buy using your affiliate link to get free bonusses worth of $xxx.00 products. (Keep ready those bonuses)

    This works good.
