Work with short amount of time..

Hey all, how many of you make your stuff happen with minimal time? Like 2-3 hours a day? My only window I can do anything is 8pm-10,11pm. Outsource yeah, but since cash is strapped, have to do all myself! Still, good times though.

The work I do for myself (articles, contacting syndication partners, researching the next niche, etc.) takes about 3-4 hours of my work day right now. The rest I spend on my service for others. You can get done what you need to get done for yourself in a short amount of time if you are disciplined and efficient.

Break your task down to segments and dont move on till you get it done. Daily consistent progress is the key to moving along.

2 - 3 hours a day is still heaps of time to get things done. As long as you stay productive and cancel out all distractions.

I'd say almost 50% of Warriors only have 2 - 3 hours a day to spend on their online business.

It depends on what your business model is, but things will just take a little bit longer to achieve. You will still be able to achieve them.

A product should only take about 2 weeks to create... if that.

You can get a blog up and running in a week, and then all it requires is a blog post once or twice a week, and they should only take an hour each.

Don't get discouraged... you have heaps of time.

The simple fact is, even a lot of the other online marketers out there who have the whole day to devote to their online businesses probably only get about 3-4 hours of actual productive work done each day -- if that. It's all about how you use that time. If you only have 3-4 hours and you sit down and make those the most productive 3-4 hours they possibly can be then you will probably get the same, if not more done than a lot of other online marketers.

So don't let it discourage you.

Let's assume you have 2-3 hours a day....and a bit extra on the weekend to do your IM work. That is ~20 hours a week.

It is my belief that people often overestimate the amount of time they are working at IM. Any work that is not directly targeted to your IM should not be counted. A general Tweet might...but a private Facebook comversation, no.

20 hours, well planned;and used as planned is a lot of time. With good, targeted work, that can equate to a booming IM business.

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.

Like you, I only have a few hours each day to devote to my IM business - this is still a fair chunk of time through the week though.
As long as you plan and remain disciplined to follow your plan there is no reason why you can't get something great going in this time.

I think it's better to have less time than more time. That way, you are forced to use that time wisely. I made the mistake thinking if I had more time I would get more done, but it wasn't always the case.
