Best open source HTML editor (for emails)

Hi everybody,

Anyone have a recommendation for a free open source HTML editor that I can use to create html emails? I'd like one with a WYSIWYG editor. Kmopozer looks good and I've heard good things about Netbeans.

I know providers like Mailchimp have html editors, but I'm looking for something where I can create an email to be sent using other media distributors. And Mailchimp's WYSIWYG is not very robust, and the html contains all sorts of Mailchimp stuff.

Any recommendations?

    I use Kompozer a lot, but you may also want to have a look at Blue Griffon.

      Thanks Seb. Kompozer is quite popular, so I'll give it a shot. BlueGriffon looks like it will work for people without a ton of HTLM skill...so that might be better!
