Finally Got My Big Break - $4200 Client Today!!

Wow, what a ride it's been...

I just receieved the email from one of my clients paying for the total invoice of $4200 for 6 months of SEO and Google Places work (paid in advance).

To give you guys the magnitude that this amount of money is for me...

I have never had more than $3000 in my bank account EVER. I have always either been a poor uni student, or a poor unemployed part time/casual worker earning $20 an hour.

I admit I am a big fan of rags to riches stories, so I suppose that's why I am sharing this today, because I know those stories give hope to others.

Whenever I go into a supermarket and see the drudgery of stocking shelves, working the tills or seeing the workers at McDonalds looking grim, I used this to fuel my actions and motivate me to find 'something better'.

It wasn't easy getting to this point, it took hundreds of cold calls, a few failed business meetings, chasing up payment and emails, text messages etc etc

But the end result? I have earned more money in the last 3 months than I have working hundreds of hours over the last few years in dead end retail jobs.

Just wanted to post this to remind people out there that the WSO's aren't lying to you (most of them), the good people in this forum aren't lying to you, you just have to get out there, make the calls, do the meetings, finish the websites and outsource the SEO (hopefully) and you can EARN A LIVING with this stuff.
