Roboform: how to 'save' passcard information ?

In case I need to access password protected sites when away
from my computer I thought I would store my Roboform
passcard information on a website.

I used "Print List" and "Save" as an html file.

The resultant file contains the necessary fields such as
passwords but instead of the full URL only the domain name
is given.

So for example instead of
http://www.warriorforum.com/login.php?do=login

it just shows Warriorforum.com

Any suggestions please ?

Harvey

    Hey Harvey,

It's pretty easy, Click on "Passcards" , "Print List"

Pay attention to a tiny checkbox on the top right corner. "Full URL"

That will print the full url out.

No need to bow, but what's all this with 'Hey Harvey' ?

The correct address is Lord Segal.

    Harvey,

I would never copy any of my ROBOFORM data anywhere -- even access URLS.

What I would do if I were you is to put RB on a USB Stick (RB to GO!) and manage everything that way.

It works wonders on vacations, travel, etc. and I am gearing to run a complete pc operation from a USB stick and this is a core program to manage access data.

    Success,

    ROBOFORM NOTE...

I will say that it is the most dependable software I've purchased, and has saved me several hundred hours of grief and lost time.

On my work network I use it to manage all passwords.

While travelling I use it on a USB stick to work as a REMOTE PC - Laptops have a big risk of loss or even getting "acquired" at airport security areas. My USB stick moves thru without a problem.

Lastly, when the USB stick is "active" ROBOFORM works off of it, and when not, RB reverts back to the pc version. There is a nice feature to synch data as well, and the newer copy of the data prevails and is saved on both locations.

All of my data is kept in one file with all my daily files and backed up monthly, in addition to smaller incremental backups, usually weekly.

The only issue that I cannot solve is to manage the same way on a Mac and Linux box, but I use those OS's less often so, it's not a big deal.

ROBOFORM is not free, but the time and money that you save with it will make it one of your top 10 software purchases.

    Success,
    Sam

It has crossed my mind but not sure how much of a risk it is.

How about if I prefixed each password with an extra character ?

I agree with the other members . . . for sure go with the usb version. Posting all your passwords on a website is not a good idea.
