I'm using my own script to do that. With hosting, I'm using hostgator because it's cheap.

However, there are some warriors here who are in hosting and a lot cheaper.

Depends on how much bandwidth your sites use really. I use Hostgator on the baby package and have never really needed to move my own personal sites from that package. I just find them easier to use.

I use Hostgator because it's simple for a non-techie like me and very affordable.

I don't care for hostgator that much lately because they have so many limits. I prefer a VPS where I am much more in the driver's seat with root access and easy to make root to root transfers should I want to move all my sites quickly.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Buy the cheapest Hostgator Reseller plan.

It's only $24,95 i think and it is very fast. All your websites will have blazing fast speeds

You're going to find a ton of people (including me) who recommend HostGator for hosting.

I'm noticing that no one else answered your other question, though, so I'll address that one.

The easiest way I have found to manage all of my sites is by combining Google Chrome & Google Docs. I run my main two domains through Google Apps (it's free to do) so that I have a standard interface for them both. I also have GMail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and whatever else I want to install inside of it.

I keep a Google Spreadsheet that's marked to private so no one else can access it through one of my domains with some of the sites and I keep another one in my other domain with the other sites.

On those spreadsheets, I can track backlinks, last visited, sales, etc etc etc. The reason I do this in Chrome is simply that I like its built-in password saving feature the best. Chrome also runs faster the IE or FF on my system, and it seems to integrate fairly well with some of the features in the Google Apps.

  • I'm on the diamond reseller hostgator package. Though I wouldn't get it unless you can afford to pay $100 each month for it. And if you're new you probably don't need that much anyway Plus I have a list of clients that I provide cheap hosting for anyway so the fact that I can have unlimited domains is great.
