How would you market this? please help

hello Warriors!

I am in the hyper competitive mortgage refinance business and I am having challenges getting enough leads to call on. Which of course is leading to not enough sales.

I work for a credit union that has fairly competitive rates...

I will consider email blasting to homeowners, Youtube information videos and continuing to buy leads online but they are 30-40$ each..

PPC seems to run about 2-3$ per click which is way pricey!

Your advice would be much appreciated as i have a 2 year old daughter and have to support my baby.
thanks very much for your consideration.
Bryan

ps - i'm trying to brand myself as Refi with Bry

Bryan, the first thing that hit me is your branding. "Refi with Bry" might sound catchy to you, but think about your prospects here. Even on a successful refi, you are talking about a 30 year commitment on what is the biggest purchase most people will ever make. Add in the fact that many people are looking into refinancing because they're experiencing financial problems, and I'm not sure "Refi with Bry" is going to inspire confidence.

Many of my friends got caught in the real estate meltdown a few years ago, and many pursued mortgage modifications. One of the main sources of stress was not knowing what to expect in the process, the possible delays, stumbling blocks, etc.

Can you 'write the book on refinancing'? And I mean title it "The Book on Refinancing Your Home"? Write it, put it up on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle. It doesn't matter if it sells, but it would be nice if it did.

Start a blog, post about once a week, and feature your book in the sidebar. Add a page in the book linking to your blog.

Your branding could be "the guy who literally wrote the book on refinancing your home." Use a picture of you holding your book for the camera. You could offer free consults (sales appointments) in return for an email address. You would have actual news to send a press release to the media in your market area. You could do appearances on local TV and radio.

Lots of opportunities not really available to a guy just trying to make a sale.

Set up a blog page with a checklist of things to do when looking to refinance, drive traffic to that page with article marketing/social media marketing.

Have a sign up on the side where people can indicate that they want more info.
