Hi everyone ,

I was just wondering is someone could tell me how to find out the exact date a domain name was registered in Australia? any help would be much appreciated

    Hi guys thanks for your reply , I tried that but it does not seem to show the actual date a name was registered, you see i went to register a domain a few weeks ago it was getting over 1000 searches per month and the domain was showing as available , so i registered it , only to get an email from them a few hours later saying it was unsuccessful , i think i got ripped so i want to check the actual date it was registered, once again any help would be much appreciated

    it only says the date it was last modified but i believe this is not the date it was registered , is this true?

    Without knowing the domain, we don't have any way to do anything except speculate.

    Edit:
    Apparently the creation and expiration dates of .au domains was removed from WhoIs public info due to scammers sending out fake registration renewal notices.

    I have had experiences with spotty whoises via whois.net - try this
    Registry Portal :: Whois Lookup

    ya its very easy you can try several tools available on the in internet where you can check the date as well as the location of the domain name
