Main page not showing proper ads.

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello,

I'm using adsense on a blog and for some reason, it is not showing ads related to my topic. All my other pages show the right ads, but not the main/home page.

Let's say URL shows my home page with the unrelated ads, whereas URL/home which is the exact same page as URL shows appropriate ads.

Anyone knows why I have this problem?

is it showing no ads or just unrelated ads? If it's unrelated then you might want to check your template or meta tags for the keywords it's finding to display those ads.

  It's showing unrelated ads.. my blog is about insurance and it's showing ads about wordpress templates and themes.

  Go to the adsense site and search for "section targeting" - there is an easy script and instructions that will help target your ads. It takes a few days for the targeting to focus but works well.

  I often find the programming in WP, particularly the first page is more difficult for Google to recognize the content - I have no idea why. I am often at a loss for why Google would be putting such ads on particular pages. I reload and reload. It could have something to do with the template you are using, but I haven't quite figured it out.
  
  On my Joomla blogs it's the exact opposite. Google picks up every little nuance of content on a Joomla site instantly, and the ads are bang-on no matter what template I use.
