I believe what's been the most help in Internet marketing for me has been my state of mind more than anything. Learning from tony Robbins, brendan burchard etc has helped me more than any IM method out there.

Anyone feel the same when it comes to making money online?

While its true mind over matter is huge, I personally would not buy any product or pay anyone for mind training! As with any career we have to take responsibility for our actions!

My IM business took off the moment I worked hard on it, and the only motivation I need is money! I don't need to part with my hard earned cash for some mind guru to tell me what I already know!

That said the OP has the title of the thread spot on! Mind Over Matter is what makes the different but if you have to pay for someone to motivate you then you will never make it in business! mentally we are all responsible for our level of success!

Never been a big fan of Anthony Robins... not saying his stuff isn't solid but the delivery just doesn't resonate with me.

Brendan Burchard however... I pay close attention to everything that guy says.

If you like Tony Robbins, then you'll love Jim Rohn (he actually trained Tony). Unfortunately he passed away a year or two ago but you'll find much of his stuff on youtube. Im also a fan of Denis Waitley, both good options.

While I wish people that think they already know it all the best of luck, I've found Jim Rohn to be the best of the best. He left this world a great gift and I contribute much of my success in earning my first Million in networking to the leadership skills and teachings that he has provided.

While self motivation is important, there is no reason not to learn from other successful people that have "been there, done that" but either way that you want to look at it...

If you don't mind it does not matter!

If I manage to get up in the morning, I think of it as mind over mattress.

Just can't get excited at all about the rest of that motivational stuff. I've read a bunch of it and didn't learn anything useful. Waste of time.

If you want a speaker you can learn something from, try Event Videos.

Or this page of video and audio, videos. The video at the top, a talk given to the European Parliament in Brussels. It's one I especially like. Same speaker, not for everybody, but the one I appreciate the most.

I get motivated whenever i see a make money/home business infomercial. For some reason i watch the whole 30 minute segment... back to back to back... looking for new copywriting techniques.

Those a great for picking up marketing ideas as well. And don't laugh but the National Enquirer is a great place to find headlines to model after.
