Why Do We Have Few Comments on Info-Marketing Topics?

Hello,Warriors.

I am wondering why. I made a post about wanting to build a business in info-marketing from scratch and hopefully to make at least $25k (pure profit) within a few months but I didn't get much response from people here. I asked for tip, advice, links to past thread and the type of ebook which I should read from to internet marketing gurus but I got only one person who recommend only one book. Though the advice were nice, but I believe there is more to information marketing than I got.

Does it mean that we have only a few info-marketers here or people don't want to share? I don't believe the latter because I know WF forum to be a place for sharing knowledge and helping people succeed.

Again, someone wrote about email marketing which also is related to info marketing, but as at the time I checked, he had only 9 replies.

Information marketing is a multibillion dollar industry and I am just wondering why the few response to a highly profitable business like that.

I see article related topics on fire most of the time and such that you wouldn't even need to go and buy any ebook for that matter, but why isn't this happening with information marketing topics?

You are expecting specific answers to a broad question. The first reply in your other thread already gave you the best answer for this:

I would recommend reading more business books, reading the forum and developing a business plan.

After you did that come back and ask more specific questions so people can help you better.
Also, if you are expecting 25k pure profit in a few months from absolute scratch you are bound to get a few eye rolls from Warriors who won't know if you are really trying to build a business or just get rich quick.

Oh I see. So, how do I ask the question in this case and should I narrow it down to a specific niche so that I can get response?

Sure, narrow it down however you can to get the answers you want. Simply stating "I want to start an info marketing business (and make 25k pure profit fast)" is not going to bring you the response you want. More often than not it actually brings out sarcastic answers (I'll usually deliver them), which are no good to you.

Yeah, I would agree with Joe on this one you should narrow down you question to a specific niche that way we will be able to help you out. Stating your question would most likely get you sarcastic answers as what Joe said.

You say info marketing well what information would you be selling, break it down for us

Another factor relating to your previous thread might be that some people have used broad questions like that to become "overnight gurus" with info-products promising to teach that which they were just asking to learn. And they use the 'free content' from the thread, usually without permission, to try to make a quick buck.

You've been around long enough that I don't think that's what you were doing, but some might see it that way.

If you can swing it, join the War Room. There's a whole section of threads and downloadable reports from the old forum, posted by Allen himself. Much of it pertains to marketing information.

Even in the main section, there are a ton of threads on different aspects of selling information - things like list building, copy writing, choosing a niche, research (both market and product), writing and so on. You'll get much more from those - if you take time to digest what you read - than any generic hints and tips thread.

Thanks. Yeah... That's my thought exactly. But I won't do a thing like that; I won't package the advice given and sell to people. I need it to build this business into a profitable venture. And that was why I also stated in my other thread that I wouldn't be competing with anyone here because my plan is for local market of my country.

As a matter of fact, I gathering ebooks for copywriting and advertising but what are these if I don't know how to package information?

Besides, all I have ever done is selling my time for money e.g affiliate marketing, website flipping and google adsense.

The niche I am targeting is the travel niche which I know people are willing to spend money for.

Did you read the thread Randall? It's quite obvious he isn't, and he did not insinuate that he was already a successful info marketer at any point. The post (and the other he refers to) are about him asking to get started in the info marketing business.

Just Randall being Randall. 24 posts so far today, all in the last hour. You can't expect him to actually read threads when he has links to drop, can you?

You're in luck, then. Google is your friend in this case. You just have to know what to ask.

In this case, you don't want to look for stuff on "info marketing", because that's not the stage you are at.

Look for informational sites, blogs, forums and groups related to 'writing non-fiction', 'travel writing', etc.

Here's another product recommendation - purely non-affiliate - get a copy of Paul Myers' "Build Your Own Empire - 20 Pages at a Time"

You should edit this quoted post to remove the live affiliate link. The post itself is already gone.
