Promoting a drug addiction website and ways to make money?

I have had my website (see signature) for about a year now. Had around 80,000 hits within a year. I need to try and think outside the box to make it grow and grow. Does anyone have an ideas for this to work?

I know I could use products to gain revenue but the products are not the greatest out there. I got Adsense running at the minute.

Any ideas would be good to start off with.

    Best way would probably be to create your own product or JV with someone else to create something that will catter directly to your visitors...

    Another solution if you would rather avoid selling your own product would be to branch into related niches which offers solution to problems related - leading to or associated with - drug problems. From the top of my head I'm thinking low self-esteem, etc...

    Assuming that isn't too close to illegal drugs for Google's TOS, that seems like the best way to me.

    Its sort of a browsing topic, which makes me think that there may be more opportunity to browse through the links.

    Only recommendation I could make it to optimize your ads a bit. They are pretty out of the way and clearly marked "Don't click here" in my opinion.

    If you want easy affiliate stuff, amazon may have some interesting products along these lines. Even as easy as quit smoking gum or something. Just be careful, again, with adsense TOS.

      Am not advertising drugs so its not a problem. I get plenty of drug related adverts that popup such as rehab etc so its more like anti drugs than drugs. I am thinking of moving my adverts so they are more appealing to click on at least. Going to think about making my own product in the future which could also help.

        You could write an ebook on how to fight drug addiction and then sale it on your website. Consider using Clickbank to promote digital products, including ebooks and guides on this topic. You could also use Amazon Affiliates and advertising programs to make money with your website.

    I would strongly suggest you contact Wendi.com and try to do an affililate with her drug addiction hypnosis programs. She has a HUGE following and great products. She has one for stopping drinking and I think she has one for drug addition too. Hypnosis is a real solution to drug addiction.
