Pros & Cons of Affiliate PPC vs Affiliate List Building Marketing

Questions:

1) What are the pros and cons of affilate ppc marketing?

2) What are the pros and cons of affiliate list building strategy to making affiliate sales?

3) What is the minimum amount of money one should have to conduct Google adwords affiliate marketing.

I am a wondering if I should start with building a list first then go on to ppc or should I just go for google adwords right off the top and work on list building.

List building as they say the money is in the list, but how immediate can the income be if it takes 6 months to build a list vs ppc marketing which is immediate traffic and income but the risks are much higher.

    If you do not understand Google adwords then going into ppc straighT ahead is like travelling to a new country without A ROAD MAP.

    I say you start off with free traffic methods and test several affiliate products until you find one that really converts. Get a good guide on ppc and test things for your self with your earnings from free methods.

    It is a learning process and it takes time. Anyone can tell you anything but everything varies from individuals to individuals. So test and see what works best for you then multiply your efforts in that area.

    When done right, PPC can definitely bring you targeted traffic and help build your list. Personally, I use PPC and article marketing to drive traffic to my squeeze page to build list... and till now, these 2 methods are still very effective.

    However, if you are new to PPC, you may consider studying about the subject more... or cap your budget at an affordable amount per day while you get used to the system.

      The question guys is ok "free traffic" is nice but how fast can one actually funnel free traffic and how much traffic can one get from free traffic building strategies.

    You can get endless free traffic from any mainstream traffic method if applied massively. The key to free traffic is massive action.

    I find a study concerning the differences between these two, from ROI perspective, see page:The ROI on PPC vs. Affiliate Marketing.
    The study was conducted between 2005 and 2006.
    As it finds out, PPC can bring you targeted traffic and help build your list only when it is properly conducted. So you need to study the subject more before you start your promotion with PPC, or it would be really costy.

    I will give you one significant con of PPC affiliate marketing: it's one of the most difficult and competitive ventures in IM. Either you're a pro, or it's almost impossible to sustain.
