Statistics on pull through rates, email squeeze page

Does anyone have any good statistics on pull through rates for squeeze pages? I have a squeeze page (name, email address) that I use to give away a 5 page eBook and have a 10% submission rate. Is that good, bad or average?

Is it good, bad or average? I don't know. However, it's never as good as it can be.

Are you pleased with 10%? If so, then it's good enough.

But, if you want a better opt-in rate, then you'll have to test the elements of the squeeze page (ie: the headline, the offer, positioning, etc.), track your results, and then implement some changes.

Test, test, test, then test some more. Never settle.
