Default What is the difference between Expired Domains and Closeout domains?

I did some googling but didn't find any correct answer. Also, in TDNAM.com it was mentioned that the owner can buy the domain back with in some specified period. Is this applicable for both these kinds of domains?

Godaddy's Closeout domains are the domains that don't have any bid when bidding closed. It can only get for $5 plus the renewal fee.
