Would Google consider this duplicate content?

I had a few articles I published on a blog about a year ago. I removed them, and had my blog and the articles de-indexed from Google.

If I were to re-use these articles on a different site, would Google mark them as duplicate content?

Not as far as I'm aware. I've done it before... deleted content from one site, stuck it on another. I'd say you're golden. You won't be hurt by any means, that's for sure.

Is it safe to say that if content has NOT been indexed by Google, it won't be marked as duplicate content whereever you post it?

    No.
