Amazon and Facebook
Has anyone here had success promoting Amazon products on Facebook note pages? Are the conversion rates good? There was an FB guide on Gaz Cooper's AMZ training academy, but I heard a while ago that no longer works for some reason.
It appears Google have lost the plot. Countless times im seeing FB note page ranking high for product keywords with nothing but content copied from the product description page and a big Special Offer button slapped on.
For example, I had a good review that was ranked in the top 3 before Penguin, now im on page 6 and there is a spammy FB note page on page 1. Another good step to reward quality content from Big G - Not.
If this is an effective technique, it may as well be used though even though it is tacky. I guess it will be phased out eventually, but Google is in no hurry to do it because this has been going on since last year.
