Highest Converting Squeeze Page, EVER?

I am curious if any of you warriors would be willing to share a pic or link of their highest converting squeeze page. I am looking for stuff about 15% or higher just to get an idea.

This would be in the IM niche and would be promoting a free video lesson course I created. Thanks ahead of time for your input!

Maybe you will have better luck with this request. In the past when people have asked similar questions, they have have not received any response. The thought being that no one wanted to let their secrets out. But we will see, so good luck, Ed.

I doubt anyone would want to do that. You could just copy their layout, and even steal their clients. No one is willing to allow that to happen.

    Hi Mate,

I hope you understand that design and words on
a squeeze page is a small part.

It also comes down to the intention of the traffic,
whether they have been pre sold, If you are giving
away something free, if you are the only one in your
    industry.

The crappiest looking squeeze page in the world
will get a 100% conversion rate if the page has
to be used to download something that you just
    purchased.

At the end of the day, someone could show you
the worlds best squeeze page, and it will crash and
burn if crap traffic goes to it.

Not being negative...just showing you the other
    side of the coin.

    Take Care,

    Michael Silvester

As Michael said, there's more to it than just the layout and ad copy.

The source and quality of the traffic is a HUGE factor.

Besides, I've seen a number of different squeeze pages that (supposedly) converted at 50-60%.

And you know what? They all looked pretty different.

So there's not really a "best" template- it's based on how you use it.

Well, as Justin and Michael have stated... there's a lot more to a successful squeeze page than just the page itself.

To prove that, here's a pic of one of our squeeze pages that got a 58.7% opt-in rate.

It's so basic and so vague that they almost HAVE to opt in. But if they didn't know us and who we are... most likely they wouldn't opt in.

This was only sent to our current subscribers to segment them onto a different list.

Yes, a squeeze page like that probably would get a high optin rate... but that's really doesn't mean anything. There is a serious lack of information or clarity as to exactly what the person will be receiving and what it will do for them. So you end up with a lot of sticky beaks on your list. A high optin rate does not always mean higher profits. I would much rather have a small optin rate full of quality subscribers than a high optin rate from a blind squeeze page like this.

One of the most popular squeeze page formats a while ago was this one. My opt-in rate averaged about 25%, coming from Ezinearticles traffic. Someone who specialized in creating high-converting squeeze pages offered to design one for me, and he was surprised it didn't do as well as this one. I've found that simple squeeze pages work the best. You don't want the potential subscriber to get distracted by anything other than signing up.

I wouldn't be surprised if even the best converting squeeze page for the IM niche caps out at around 30% to 40%. If you want incredible conversions... go into a smaller niche - on a different subject.

      Randall,
I wouldn't be surprised if even the best converting squeeze page for the IM niche caps out at around 30% to 40%.
Why do you assume that? I have one in this niche that has performed at consistently higher rates than that for years. Just over 60% sign up, and 83-86% of those people confirm their subscriptions. It's like clockwork.

Those numbers have only varied significantly a few times. Each time, it turned out that someone was rotating the page through a traffic exchange. It is definitely NOT optimized for that. In fact, at over 2000 words, it's just about the worst sort of page you could push through that kind of system.

It's all about the offer. Make a better offer than your competition, you'll get better results.

      I agree, Randall.

Conversions of 30% to 40% are considered very good in IM niche, but in
niches where people don't encounter squeeze pages and lists all the time
      conversions can be much higher.

The conversion of a squeeze page depends on many factors, as stated
before, that it would impossible to just point to one that is the best.

One thing I find is basic and universal for conversion is the least amount of
distractions on the squeeze page, making it the only thing a visitor can do
on a squeeze page is opting-in.

      I am never happy with a 30 - 40% opt in rate

But of course it`s not bad either

You can get way higher conversions than 30 - 40% if you test enough

My new squeeze page which I am using is currently converting at 73.3%

      That`s a bit more like it :-)

Been trying to hit a regular 70+ opt in rate for a while

Would show but I would rather not put it up here to show otherwise I may get accused of self promotion :-)

Not a squeeze page; but perhaps you can learn from the HIGHEST CONVERTING OFFER EVER. Warriors have been talking about it for awhile now.

Probably not what you want to hear but why not just play around with different ones and see what works for your offer! as stated above different squeeze pages work for different products. Call me a geek, but I actually enjoy testing and tweaking! and above all you get to learn so much whilst doing it!

But to give you a kind of answer to your question, I have found a very basic one converts best! remember its not a sales page and to leave the person visiting the squeeze page intrigued!! therefore very few words, a cool graphic and an opt in form is all that is required!

Highest conversion rate for me has been 89.1% and it had very little to do with how the squeeze page looked.

Strong headline, 3 benefit chains, opt-in form. Nothing else.

I attribute the high conversion rate to a good offer and extremely targeted traffic.
Highest converting sales page has been considerably less.

What got me to over 50% is a powerful headline, lots of attention to the e-mail sign up box (i.e. flashing arrow), the e-mail sign up box above the fold, an attractive e-book cover next to the sign up box, and very very very little wording (such as just mentioning the 3 main benefits of the free report).

To sum it up: Sweet, short, simple, and making it look irresistible.

I am by no means a professional at this, I'm just mentioning what worked for me. Hope it gives you some ideas.

WOW! I changed my email on my account and didn't see the response come pouring in!

SO MUCH great info here. I have since figured out my squeeze page and have unknowingly followed a bunch of your guys' advice. I am getting 33% opt in rate with solo traffic. I have since started testing, and as always I continue researching.

I found a site (marketing experiments dot com) that has taught me so much it is amazing. Just today I was learning about "friction" of a landing/squeeze page and the psychology behind it all. This is sure a huge topic but with a little research and some effort hitting 35% (32.5% really) has been pretty simple. Now I want to hit 50% plus.. Thanks everyone, all this information is AWESOME!

Lastly, those who responded with worthless comments like "nobody is going to want to help you". I truly wish you luck in your IM career. There are TOO many people out there with better information than you, and they WILL help people. I am one of those people and I thoroughly enjoy helping people, in my niche or not.

Fortunately, I am repaid for it every single day! Thanks again everyone.

I have some interest with this to.

I did a little research and all squeeze pages are different. Like a few posts up, the simplest could be the best.

It comes down to the psychology level on how the human brain works.

What different fonts to use and where to use them.
    What colors work the best.
What intellectual words to use to grab the readers attention.
    What layout converts the best.

Now you can use all of these methods or just focus on one with a simple page.
Even the niche or product will change on how you use these methods.

Is it for a male or women? Or both.

I think when making a good squeeze page you should take yourself out of the picture.
Who cares what you like. You want a page everyone likes. That comes down to psychology.

If you understand what people naturally react to, then you should have no problem making a great squeeze page.

Just look at my page, wait, look at everyone's page and see the little things that would grab your attention. Look at how (most pages) the way it is written. A good copy written page will make you want to buy the product before you finish reading.

There should be enough information here to research on. I would, as this is how you will convert sales.
Ask yourself, how many times did you naturally look at the red word naturally?

    Good luck

LOL.... love these threads.... guys... your numbers TOTALLY depends on the traffic source...

what works for one niche, might not work for another.... and there is a HUGE difference between warm and cold traffic.

Plus... if you're in the "make money online" niche and touting your numbers... give me a break. You're selling to desperate crack addicts.... its not a real niche nor a sustainable business model.

if you're doing 30% or more on COLD traffic... you are making serious bank.

if i was doing 70% or some of the numbers you guys talk about, i'd be doing a strong 6 figures a month without changing anything else.

    I'm currently having a 78% opt-in rate for one
of my squeeze pages in a niche, but I would really
attribute the conversion rate to the traffic that I
    send over to it...

My normal average would be 50-60+% in many
    other niches though.

Some markets prefer red-letter sales pages, some
    prefer compartmentalized, some prefer "disguised",
    some like blog landing pages...

So it's really hard to derive "scientifically". Just
    test.
