Leave ads up on empty site for a bit?

Quick nub inquiry...

I got my theme up on my site, but it doesn't have any content yet.
It was a free theme, I took off the preinstalled ads and put 2 of my Linkshare affiliate ads on it.

How long can I leave it like this? Not sure when I can mess with it again.
Does it get hammered by Google, new site and nothing but 2 ads?

    Settings --> Privacy --> Ask Search Engines Not To Index This Site

    Then switch it back once you have some content on your site.
